Wendy recently joined our program after her owners brought her to a high-killing shelter because they “could not afford her” anymore. Wendy is gently, gets along with everyone and is potty trained. Wendy love to swim and clearly is an accomplished swimmer. She also walks well on the leash and rides well in the car.

07/08/10 Update: What a FUN and sweet girl!! Wendy has been battling some skin issues, and after one more dip will have the "all clear" from the vet! YAY!!! She's heartworm positive, and will be ready to begin heartworm treatment and recovery shortly after that.

08/12/10 Update from Wendy's foster family: Wendy is doing really well in her new foster home. She is getting along with her foster sister Amber and has adapted well to the house environment. Wendy is very sweet and seems well adjusted, but she does fear thunderstorms.

Children: Yes          Cat Friendly: unknown       Other dogs: Great
