Mariah is one black love bug. She's about four years old and has the classic thick shiny lab coat and an otter tail that goes straight out. She's a medium size dog and weighs about 60 pounds.
She is interested in a ball and will go after it and then toss it around in the air a few times in a very satisfied manner. She loves people and other dogs and will snuggle up close to you for tummy rubs. She walks very well on a leash, giving the occasional tug when she sees a squirrel or another dog. She does not jump nor is she overly hyper. Her worst offense currently seems to be counter surfing, which she is learning not to do.
Mariah also knows how to 'sit' and will 'stay' if you tell her to. She is playful but certainly not over-the-top.
Unfortunately this poor girl is heartworm positive. She'll start her treatment in the next couple of weeks but will not be ready to go to her new home until mid July.
