Jackson is estimated to be around a year and a half old. He is quite the energetic big boy. He would gladly play with you for the entirety of a day if you wanted him to. He loves to fetch just about anything you want to throw and has a very soft mouth release. And water..let's just say this guy is all lab. He loves the beach, lakes, and even bath tubs. Anything to keep his body soaked. Jackson is also happy just sitting next to you. He always wants to be touching his family, literally. He will sit with his head in your lap forever if you let him. Jackson knows many commands, sit, down, stay, stop, shake, etc., but he gets so excited about the interaction that he has a little trouble holding still after he is in position. We are working on that as he is very eager to please. Jackson also loves his younger foster brother, Wilber (1 yr old Chocolate) and he is extremely patient with him. And to say Wilbur can test patience by always attempting to play is an understatement. Jackson always takes it in stride. He gets along with pretty much any large to medium dogs. He does tend to get a little barky with toy size dogs that are behind fences. Overall, Jackson is a great companion who loves to be around people and other dogs. He has an energy level that would be perfect for running, hiking, or any other outdoor activity. Also a wonderful lap dog when the time is right.
